Violin Lessons in Adelaide
Both individual and group violin lessons are provided at Learning Through Music’s music studios and in Schools around Adelaide, South Australia. Our unique, innovative violin programs were created to keep students progressing consistently while also making learning a fun experience! While the violin is surrounded by an aura of mystique that may make it seem daunting at first, learning the violin—like all instruments-- requires only the right tools and proper instruction and can be a rewarding avenue to let your creativity and passion flow.
Our experienced and passionate violin tutors come from a variety of music backgrounds and take care in helping students learn a range of music styles. LTM welcomes violin students of any age and ability from absolute beginners to advanced levels.
Beginner students can expect to work on open strings, fingering, violin and bow hold, posture, note reading, beginner technique, simple songs and melodies, sight reading and theory during lessons. A variety of violin method books can be used to accomplish the basics.
As the student’s skills advance and a solid technical foundation has been built, students are then encouraged to explore music from various composers, work towards performances, prepare for exams or continue to learn for pleasure.
LTM offers opportunities for violin students to be involved in violin ensemble groups at the LTM Studios. Students who are at an intermediate level are welcome to join and are also encouraged to be a part of Ensembles and performances opportunities that occur during the year.
LTM Studios have a dedicated room for violin lessons equipped with a digital piano and modern teaching aids. Our Studios are a great place for meeting likeminded musicians, and gain inspiration from seeing other students with their chosen instruments enjoying lessons.
It is best if students bring their own violin to each lesson. LTM offer sales and hire of violins. We also sell violin accessories, contact our office for more information
