Learning Through Music offers flute lessons to students of any age and ability—from absolute beginners to advanced levels—at our and in schools around Adelaide.

Our experienced and passionate flute tutors pride themselves on delivering consistent results while making sure that students have fun learning such a beautiful instrument and bringing out their innate talent to develop it into a skill that will last a lifetime.

Intermediate & Advanced Flute Lessons

As the students skills advance and a solid technical foundation has been built, students are then encouraged to explore the different genres available to the flute such as flute music composers, different eras of music, jazz, and more.

LTM also offers opportunities for flute students to be involved in ensemble groups and welcomes students who want to prepare for AMEB exams or learning flute at school as part of ‘Music’ subjects.

Studio Locations

Our Studios are a great place for meeting likeminded musicians, and gain inspiration from seeing other students with their chosen instruments enjoying lessons. It is best if students bring their own flute to each lesson.

Studio Lessons

Studio lessons are available Monday to Saturday from 9am to late. Lessons are 30 mins in duration, but shorter or longer lessons can be arranged to meet the needs of individual students.

School Lessons

Students learning at their Primary or Secondary school with Learning Through Music will be given a specific time for lessons that has been arranged with their class and music teacher. Lessons at schools are 30mins in duration and can be arranged during or after school, at school.

Flute students bring their flute to school on the day of their lesson, usually keeping them in their classroom in a safe place until lesson time. LTM offers flute hire and sales along with music accessories to meet the needs of our students.
